Terms & Conditions

Sha’Rigby’s Paradise Rentals agrees to provide a rental vehicle to the renter under the following terms. By signing this agreement, the renter accepts all responsibilities outlined below.

VEHICLE USE

The rental vehicle may be used only for personal transportation.

Subleasing, lending, or using the vehicle for any unauthorized purpose is strictly prohibited.

The renter is fully responsible for all costs arising from damages, misuse, or violations incurred during the rental period.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a rental, the renter must:

Be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of two (2) years.

Present a physical driver’s license at the time of rental (digital copies are not accepted).

Ensure the license is valid and not expired at the time of rental.

PAYMENT & SECURITY DEPOSIT

Full payment is required before or upon vehicle pick-up.

A credit or debit card must remain on file for any additional charges.

A refundable deposit of $150 is required for all rentals.

Deposits are refunded in full once the vehicle is returned in good condition with no damages.

Extensions must be requested in advance. Extra rental days will automatically be billed to the card on file unless another payment method is provided.

DAMAGE & FUEL POLICY

Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received. Any damages will be charged to the renter’s card on file.

Renters are responsible for all extra costs, such as traffic tickets, fuel differences, tolls, and late return fees.

A Vehicle Liability Damage Waiver (VLDW) may be purchased at an additional cost. This is not insurance but reduces financial liability to a $1,000 deductible in case of damage.

The VLDW becomes void if the renter:

Drives recklessly or commits traffic violations.

Operates the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Allows unauthorized drivers to use the vehicle.

Removes the vehicle from the island.

Refuses to cooperate in the event of an accident investigation.

In these cases, the renter is fully liable for all damages or, if necessary, full replacement of the vehicle.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle. Violations will result in loss of deposit plus a $150 cleaning fee.

Fuel levels must the original level at check-out. If not, a $20 per gallon surcharge will be applied.

RETURN POLICY

Vehicles must be returned on or before the agreed date and time.

Returns must be made at the original rental location unless another location is pre-approved (extra fees may apply).

REFUNDS

Refunds are processed within 48 hours of the vehicle’s return.

Banks or card providers typically take 3–5 business days to post refunds. If it takes longer, please contact your provider directly.

Early returns are non-refundable, but credit may be issued if the vehicle is returned more than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Rental credits are valid for 12 months and expire if not used within that time.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
